Hi guys, this is Courtney. I am a 23 year old follower of Jesus, drinker of too much coffee, cat lover and avid daydreamer. I live in a small town that I love, but I have a great desire to see the world and understand it. I became a Christian at a young age, and after some soul searching rededicated my life to Christ in 2014. His grace has astounded me. Growing up in church I was given the wrong view of God. One that was harsh, unapproachable, one that sought absolute perfection and nothing less. I now know that God loves me just as I am, but too much to leave me that way. This journey has led to a strong desire to know Him more, and a strong desire to share that love with others. The journey has not been easy, I have had to make a lot of big decisions, step out of my comfort zone, be vulnerable and I am still striving to see myself as God does. But that is why I call it a journey because it takes one step at a time, one day at a time.
A life that once felt dark and alone, is now overflowing with so much love. I am surrounded by an incredible family that loves and supports me, a Fiance’ who encourages me to be all that I can be, a furry friend to keep me company, friends that keep me laughing, and a church family that has played a huge role in my life. My coffee cup runneth over ❤
My passion in life is to bring the love and grace of Jesus to the hurting. I desire to share what God has done and is still doing in my life through Coffee Breaks With Jesus. God has given me a passion for writing and I find absolute joy in encouraging others with what He reveals to me. I have big plans for the blog and can not wait to see what God does.
